How the development of this web application was born
Initially, I had the idea of creating a web application that could be compatible with any manufacturing company, whether it involved televisions, computers, electronics, furniture, or even automobiles. I began developing my own software capable of performing these functions in 2012.
In November 2014, I was hired by Life Window Coverings, a company based in Tecate, Baja California, to adapt my software to blind manufacturing. I worked with this company from 2014 to 2016. During this time, I developed the Blinds Store, Products (with Configurations and Price Lists), and Accounts modules. These were the application's core modules that allowed sales to be generated with the online store. The application also began sending data to another external system within the company.
In 2017, when I called Alico Elegance in Tijuana, Baja California, I was allowed to show the company their online store at a prearranged meeting. This company was interested in the software and requested the programming of three new modules: Inventory, Collections, and Production. These modules were developed by a single programmer during the years 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, and 2022. The reason for the delay in this development was the limited financial resources available.
ProBlinds is currently being developed and improved. All modules and their respective sections are being refined, improving the integrity of the functions, and enhancing the intelligence of the algorithms and programming logic.
To date, the system is 100% ready and fully functional. Although we don't yet have a single client using the system, we are looking for a blinds manufacturing company that would like to acquire a digital tool of this type. We can help them improve their production and external sales processes, and we will benefit from obtaining our first client.
